Grace Hayes, PharmD., BCPP

Grace Hayes received her Associate degree in Chemistry from Cuesta College and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California. She completed her residency in Ambulatory Care at the Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Los Angeles. She is board certified in Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice. Dr. Hayes is a pharmacist at Atascadero State Hospital. She has served as a board member of the California Pharmacists Association. She has also served on numerous working committees for the American Pharmacists Association. The California Pharmacists Association has awarded her the honors of Pharmacy Student of the Year in 1988 and Young Pharmacist of the Year in 1996. She has also served on the Cuesta College Foundation Board and in 1991 was honored as Cuesta’s Alumnus of the Year.

Dr. Hayes has additional interests in alternative medicine and environmental concerns. She enjoys travel and gardening. Most of her energy at this stage of her life is devoted to the care of her two young daughters.
